Susan Kennedy

I grew up in a wonderful & fun family of 6 in Annapolis, MD. I moved down to NE Florida in 1992 following my family. I had been a Realtor in Maryland since 1983 & brought my expertise to Florida.

I LOVE WHAT I DO! I believe that you will always be successful if you conduct your business with a sense of pride & joy. For 39 years, I have loved the challenge of finding the best possible home for my Buyers & providing the most comprehensive service to my Sellers. Being a Realtor is one of the most important aspects of my life & the friendships that I form with my clients is important to me both professionally & personally.

Another passion of mine is the welfare of animals. I can not walk away from a pet that is homeless or in distress. I contribute to multiple pet rescue & animal care related organizations. Over the years, I have built a wonderful network of like-minded friends who assist me with the hands on care & placement of animals.

For leisure, I love to travel with my husband Bill, my daughter Shelly & enjoy spending time with my brother Jeff, sister Roxanne & their families.

Roxanne Pilkinton

I grew up in Annapolis, MD in a loving & fun family w/3 other siblings. I went out searching for more sunshine & warmer winters in a move to Jacksonville, FL in 1980. I love & am very passionate about being in real estate sales & management. My background was as an operations manager for the medical sales. That allowed me to gain tons of knowledge & experience in customer service. I earned my real estate salesperson license in 1995 & went on to become a broker in 2000. I have spent my whole Realtor career with Susan Kennedy & The Kennedy Team. Initially as a sales team member & then the team manager. Real estate has been through many changes over the past 26 years. In this field we learn every day. I take great pride in the care of my customers which has resulted in the majority of my business today coming from past customers & referrals.

When not working; I am all about the family! I love to have get togethers, event parties & holidays with my extended family...usually @ Nana & Grandad’s house & pool. Grandchildren have added an extra layer of fun in mine & my husband Donnie’s life of the past few years.

Julia Walsh

I grew up in Montgomery County Maryland. A stones throws from Washington, DC & it was a great place to grow up. My school field trips were to places like the Smithsonian, National Zoo, United States Capital & so much more & it was a privilege. I spent years in the Army Medical Corps stationed @ Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After marrying an Army physician, we traveled from Tacoma, WA to Honolulu, HI to Mons, Belgium & back to Washington, DC. I made the jump further South to Jacksonville, FL in 1997. After spending most of my work life in the medical field, I wanted to try something different. When my son went off to college, I got my real estate license in 2001. I have spent my whole real estate career with Susan Kennedy & The Kennedy Team & it has been so rewarding!
When not working, I love spending time w/my Jay, traveling, gardening, dining out & decorating for the holidays. My son & daughter-in-law have given me 2 sweet grandchildren Stella & Calvin. I also have an extended family of children & grandchildren with Jay that round out our wonderful family & blessed life!

Larry Atwell

Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I got the opportunity to explore the world during my twenty years in the United States Navy. My love for the Navy came from having a great uncle and uncle that served in the Navy during World War l and World War ll respectfully. In addition, I enjoy assisting my fellow military members with their real estate needs and or property management. Over nearly twenty-five years as a Realtor, I have seen many local market cycles and enjoyed helping others navigate those challenging times.
On a more personal note, I am married with three daughters, three grandkids, and two great-grandkids that fills my life with joy and purpose. I enjoy surf fishing and supporting my various sports teams, especially the USA Olympians I would be honored to team up with you to accomplish your real estate goals.

I was born in New York, but spent the majority of my childhood in Jacksonville. I have been a Realtor for 7 years & have been fortune to be a part of The Susan Kennedy Team. Prior to real estate, I worked in the automotive business and owned a courier service. I love the real estate profession! I get to meet people from all over the area buying & selling locally & helping relocation customers coming into the Jacksonville market. Being raised in Jacksonville, I know and love all areas of this city.

I have been blessed with 4 wonderful children & they bring great joy to my life! For relaxation, I love to fish & surf fish at our beautiful beaches.

Shelly Kennedy

After a rewarding career as a certified medical assistant with Mayo Clinic, I made the decision to join my Mother, Susan Kennedy’s, long-standing real estate team with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty. I grew up around real estate with The Susan Kennedy Team, my Aunt Roxanne Pilkinton & my Uncle Jeff Streif. When I was available, I spent time working with The Susan Kennedy Team as an office assistant which helped me cultivate an interest in the real estate industry. Through hard work, I was able to establish myself as a Realtor. I look forward to a successful career in real estate helping both Buyers and Sellers fulfill their real estate dreams.

When I am not helping customers, I love to spending time with my animals, traveling & horseback riding.
